Venue: Brown's Corner Hotel, cnr Bell St and Sydney Rd, Coburg

The run was located at Brown's Family Hotel, Coburg, opposite the former H.M. prison Pentridge. We tottered out into the night air with the last drunks and set off for the Bluestone College. Set by Cyclone Tracy (and co-hared by Sooty, according to Sooty), the run zigzagged back and forth across parks, gardens, around lakes, across bridges, and through new housing estates, but there was nary a petty crim nor an underground celebrity to be seen. Prince scored it at 30/35.

Returnees were Nickelby and Mummies' Boy, and our virgin runner was Cums Too Late. In fact, Cums Too Late didn't make it back to the On In, so it was really a matter of Never Cums at All. This was undoubtedly due to E & B putting the hard word on her during trail (yet again), as our Sgt @ Arms, Shit-off-a-Shovel, duly explained during the circle. His other charges included one for Lotsa Fun for being late for the Off, to Flem for not shooting far enough, and to Cooch for failing to have the courage to crawl through dank, foul, storm water drains in the dark.  GG may have joined the walkers although at no stage did I see him venture outside the pub on the night.

In fine Lakeside tradition, Kling-on ate Prince’s dinner and then pissed off early.
