Run 1293, 12 November 2008
Hare: Colours and Sooty (absent in NZ).
Venue: Kevin Bartlett Sport & Recn BBQ area, F.R. Smith Drive,
Burnley
A very warm evening - 35C - trail set by Sooty and re-checked by Cooch.
A cunning trail with with on backs over rail and road bridges and railway
lines (had to wait for train). Which kept the pack together and the walkers
ahead.
Past Channel 9 studio, along Bridge Road, along The Yarra, past Melbourne
Girls College - where Cod Piece still had girls doing detention. Past Burnley
Gardens and home.
Scored as 9.5/12 due to heat and flies.
Special Run - GG - 800 "He doesn't look old enough."
Cheesecake - Sergeant for the night.
GG and LotsaFun - putting Cheesecake off her food
by talking about tonsil removal.
All the locals who drove from close by :_
LotsaFun, Nicklby, Twisted
Sister, Colours, Lubang Oz, Lube Oil.
But Cooch managed to cycle.
The RA Nicklby for getting the weather too hot.
Old Boar got caught in a cage on the run (carpark)
- couldn't limbo under fence and or dig for truffles to get out!
GG on his special run led for only 8 metres.
The GM, Codpiece found a shop, that sells whips,
on the run.
Mothball complained (surprise) about the empty wine
bottle put back in the esky - which he put there.
FRB Prince looked soaked in sweat - actually tipped
a bucket of water over himself.
Returnee - Twisted Sister.
Enviro-mentalist charge - TigerMoth could have had
a Prius but picked a Kluger instead.
Twisted Sister, Colours & Cooch - of Richmond -the servants of
the Hawthorn elite.
