SENIORS FESTIVALS
On Sunday 4 October 2009 our Club's Line Dancing Group performed at the State Seniors festival in Federation Square. We also assisted at the Life Planning Foundation's display promoting the benefits of joining a Life Activity Club.
In October the City of Whitehorse conducted their Spring festival at the Nunawading Civic Centre. Life Activities Whiteorse had a manned display stand operating all day and our Line Dancers performed during the day

The Club,s Immediate Past President, Trevor Ryan, was appointed to the Board of the Life Planning Association of Australia (LPFA) at the Association 's Annual general meeting in November 2008.
LPFA will be holding its Annual General Meeting on the 18 November 2009 when it expected that the proposal to transform the organisation into Life Activities Clubs Victoria will be adopted.

In early October 2008 the Club's office was relocated from the Box Hill Town Hall to the third level of the Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre. This new location is well served by public transport and has ample on-site parking making it more convenient members. A number of activity groups already use the facilities available in the shopping centre
