What we're about

As our name suggests our Club, like all those Clubs under the umbrella of the Life Planning Foundation Inc,  is in the business of activity; activity, physical and otherwise, in spite of advancing years. We can add many things to this such as cheerfulness, happiness, challenge, companionship, exercise, relaxation, amusement plus anything else which is great, the odds are we've got it somewhere. All you have to do is take the first step of getting in touch with us and then, with a bit of patience and consistency on your part we will do our best to make you feel at home.

Our activities are varied and subject to change, we like to think we are adaptable and flexible, and are normally held in members' homes. Larger activities, mainly socials, table tennis, snooker and meetings are held in the Senior Citizens' Hall, cnr Waltham & Abbott Sts., Sandringham (in the library complex building, along from Coles, at the opposite end to the library itself). Come along to activities (other than meetings) and see what you think; make yourself known and we will look after you devoid of any pressure. We are pretty easy going and were all beginners once.

Of course you may prefer to contact us (see the Home Page) and be made welcome by the Club  specialist.  A copy of the Club newsletter will be forwarded showing therein the full range of  our activities and when and where they occur. This is the best means of understanding what we're about and you can delve further by contacting the organisers of any activities which may interest you.

Like most clubs we have general meetings, elections, committee meetings, socials, picnics.
