Our birthday party is held in October usually at the Boronia Senior Citizens hall in Boronia and everyone is invited to attend. Sometimes we have themes for the day and it's great fun to participate.
In December we have our Christmas party and there is fun for all who come along.
Our club holds quarterly meetings in February, May, August and November each year at which a variety of speakers are invited to attend. As activity groups are held at various venues, these meetings give everyone a chance to catch up with other members not often seen.
During the summer months we get together for a picnic in the park (BYO everything) which is usually held at Jells Park.
Social Games is a group which meets on the first Friday of each month at the Ferntree Gully Tennis Club Pavilion. Cost is $2.00 (to cover hall hire & tea/coffee). Come along and join in the fun - play a board game, Rummykin, Upwords, Dominoes, etc. or BYO game or cards. Why not try Bocce or table tennis and tennis courts are available if you are wearing suitable shoes. Or just come along for a cuppa and chat and enjoy the company. BYO snack or buy lunch at adjacent Bowling Club.
