The Friends of Kyneton Botanic Gardens was formed in 2005 with the aim of working with Macedon Ranges Shire Council to raise awareness of the gardens and their conservation. Intended activities include education of groups, schools etc. on the history of the gardens, garden tours and fund-raising for projects. Group projects will be established after discussion with the Council. The group will not be involved in management of the gardens, but will make suggestions and proposals in this regard.
