Cub Scouts follow a structured program to enhance the physical, social, of the members. Cubs are based upon the Jungle Book stories written by Rudyard Kipling. The leaders adopt names arising from the stories. The leader of the Pack is Akela, with other leaders being called Baloo, Kaa, Rikki (Tikki Tavi), Raksha.
