WELCOME TO A KOORI'S KALEIDOSCOPE
WHY A KOORI'S KALEIDOSCOPE?
WE ARE ALL UNIQUE, BE IT OUR COLOR, TASTES IN MUSIC AND OURTALENTS. DIVERSITY IS NOT LOST ON INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIANS.
I'M PROUD OF WHO I AM, AND I AM VERY PROUD THE DIVERSITY OF OUR
INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS. THEIR TALENTS SHOULD BE
CELEBRATED, RESPECTED, PROMOTED AND CHERISHED. TAKE A JOURNEY
WITH ME AND DISCOVER HOW THIS ONE PERSON IS DOING HER BIT TO LIFT
OUR INDIGENOUS ARTISTS TO THE HEIGHTS THAT THEY DESERVE.
I DON'T AIM TO CHANGE THE WORLD, BUT WE CAN ALL DO OUR BIT, SO
TAKE THE TOUR AND DISCOVER HOW YOU CAN DO YOUR BIT TO HELP.

The art work is the creation of John Eric Smith. His Aboriginal name is 'Gumbula' which was given to him when he was adopted into a family from the Galiwinku Community of Elcho Island. There he learnt the traditional ways, including the language, music and art. He has been painting professionally for twelve years and considers art a very important part of his culture and his life.
