The Club has a number of GPS hand held navigation devices (see image at the right). Leaders can borrow the GPS for their walks. Phillip Tewksbury can instruct leaders on its use and there is also an extensive (and relatively straight forward) instruction manual that goes with it.

Remember to get most value from the GPS you will need a map with grid references marked on it and dont forget to carry spare batteries (and a compass!).
