- Aims:
- Help families with treatment, hospital, outpatient services
and social issues.
- Raise funds to help expand the paediatric haemotology/oncology
unit at Monash.
- Encourage and support families with a child undergoing
treatment for cancer or a haematological disorder.
- Provide support for bereaved families.
- Vision: To establish at Monash Medical Centre an expanded
world-class paediatric oncology unit dedicated to the treatment, care
and support of patients and their families.
- Mission:
To better the lives of all patients, their carers and siblings by
ensuring the best possible medical care, emotional support and relief.
This is achieved by working with the Government, Southern Health,
Consultants, Charitable Organisations, Foundations, Corporations and
individuals to develop the strategic plan for Monash Medical Centre's
Paediatric Oncology Unit and to secure funding and support.
