Knox Community Volunteers is a non-profit organization providing training, recruitment, referral and support for Volunteers working within Knox and the South West Yarra Ranges.We also incorporate Carrington Park Day Activity Centre, planned Activity Group operating from O'Connor Road, Knoxfield.

Knox Community Volunteers is administered by a Volunteer Committee of Management made up of members of the local community.

At present we have over 700 volunteers on our books, but we are always looking for more. Volunteers provide various essential services within Knox and the Yarra Ranges, including transport driving, friendly visiting, meals on wheels delivery, assistance wih petcare and many other services.

First set up in 1975, Knox Community Volunteers aimed to consolidate and bring together the volunteers working in Knox. A volunteer co-ordinator was appointed, and from these tiny beginnings we have grown into the largest Volunteer organisation within Knox.
