World War 1 Soldiers and Nurses Database

An authoritative compilation of district soldiers is being compiled.  Various local records have revealed quite a deal of inconsistencies and inaccuracies.  The list was initially published in the March 2002 Issue of  our newsletter and it is hoped that over time a more complete picture of Kilmore and District soldiers will emerge. It would be most satisfying to have full names, a photo, family details, war service and some knowledge of life after the war. If we are to acknowledge the great sacrifice these young men made for their country, the least we can do is to record them with some style and with accuracy. - Kilmore and District World War 1 Soldiers and Nurses
