Keilor's ANZAC memory
Harrick's Open Day, March 2015, was a glorious day for the Keilor Historical Society. The book 'Keilor's ANZAC memory' was launched and the exhibition about the project was on display. All of this was a symbol of the enormous amount of work that had been done by the authors and contributors to these projects. We had Senator Scott Ryan launch the book which was a result of Federal Government funding. It truly was an important time for my wonderful co-author, Dorothy Minkoff who was surrounded by her family at this time. We both knew the incredible amount of hours of research and writing it had taken to result in the book and the exhibition.
That was on the Saturday and on the next day we had a magnificent dinner at Overnewton Castle. At this event we launched the dvd with the same title as the book. We really had completed our aims to leave a legacy to the Keilor Region.
Thankyou to all who attended and took part.
