Approximately 400 entries were received from over 120 swimmers. Our meet was supported by 14 different swimming clubs, as well as more than half the swimmers not belonging to any club. The Boroondara Sports Complex is a magnificent venue to host such an event. The weather was perfect and the swimmers had loads of fun. Click here to download a full list of results. |

Congratulations to all Kew swimmers who competed in the Victorian State Long Course Championships, 3-14 Jan 2007 |

| Some highlights include: | Nicholas Dinnison had a sizzling State Championships. He produced 5 marvellous PB's ranging from between 1-4 seconds. These results place him in the top 20 for 100 & 200m Backstroke and the top 25 for 100m Butterfly and Freestyle. His leg of the 4 x 50 Freestyle Male 16 & Under Relay produced his 5th PB, doubling-up as an official State Qualifying time. Take a bow Nick! It was absolutely sensational watching these performances! | ||||||||||||||
| The Open Female 4 x 100 Medley Relay Team once again did themselves and the Club proud, improving by 6 seconds on last year's first-up efforts in an Open event. Things are looking very promising for the girls' future! Congratulations to Charlotte Mahoney for her first time selection in the Breaststroke leg. | |||||||||||||||
| Jessica Kipping once again moved into the Final of the 200m Butterfly, this time as a 15 year old. Congratulations Jessica on making the Final and producing your second best ever 200m 'Fly, finishing 9th in Victoria for your age group. | |||||||||||||||
| Other individual competitors were Bec Welsford, Sarah Lau, Patrick Kipping and Kate Gibson. All produced at least one PB and some stunning performances. You cannot do more than achieve a PB at the State Championships! Fantastic guys! | |||||||||||||||
