Victoria's Parliament House Hosted by Hon. Judy Maddigan MP

Members enjoyed a two course meal in the red cedar paneled Dining

Room.

Minh and Kim Nguyen enjoyed the dinner and guided tour.

Joe and Tania Salce proudly wore their Visitor security stickers.

We were joined by members of the Keilor Probus Club.

Judy began the tour with a look at the Library which was richly furnished and had

2000 piece chandelier (pictured below) hanging from its domed ceiling.

With Catering by A Delicious Afare of Strathmore members enjoyed an informative tour of the Keilor Heights Primary School followed by a talk given by the Acting Principal and Assistant Principal.

38 Club members, family and friends gathered in the Hall of Fame at Essendon Football Club for the Tour led by Gregor McCaskie.

Gregor spoke from the new lectern in the auditorium.

A very impressive Gymnasium.

Massive earthworks funded by a Federal Goverment grant will allow the grounds to be watered with water from the stadium roof. The water will be stored in this interesting tank.

After the Tour we enjoyed a dinner in the Social Club.A very informative and enjoyable evening.


This Year's Pride of Workmanship Awards will be held at Keilor East RSL on Monday 27th of October.

Last year's Pride of Workmanship Awards were held on Monday the 3rd of September.

There were six awardees Cong Nguyen and Kim Ta, Kon and Anna Lagoutatzis,

Karen Mansour and Simon Matthias representing awardee Robert Horner.

Guest Speaker for the evening was AWU Secretary, Bill Shorten, second from right.

Moonee Valley city councillor, John Sipek was also in attendance along with DG John Davis and Joan and AG Vanda Mullen, pictured at left.
