History of the Project

At our Fundraiser held on Friday 20th October 2006 we

raised almost $18,000 of the $37,000 required to complete the task.

We are indebted to the Event Management students of William Angliss Institute of TAFE for their outstanding assistance in organising the event and to the generous sponsors and those who attended on the night for their support.

Since then we have gradually raised and been donated the balance of the amount required for the Play equipment and its installation. On Wednesday 15th August 2007 officially handed over the money and declared the playground open.

Past President and current Vice President Lloyd Lancaster presents our Club's cheque to Western Autistic School Principal, Val Gill.
