Starting Times And Late Time Limits
10. STARTING TIMES AND LATE TIME LIMITS
(a) Matches shall be played at the venue shown on the fixture and all matches shall commence by 7.30p.m. at the latest. All members of both teams must be ready to play prior to this time. All clubs will have their courts and facilities open and available for play by 7.15p.m. Failure to do so may incur a fine in accordance with Bylaw 19(c).
(b) If a team is not ready to play by 7.45p.m. they will forfeit the first set 0-6 and may incur a fine in accordance with Bylaw 19(i).
For each full fifteen (15) minutes that they are late thereafter the next set to be played shall also be forfeited 0-6.
Play shall commence at the set after those forfeited.
(c) If all team members are not in attendance by 8.15p.m. the match shall be abandoned, regarded as a forfeit and a fine may be incurred in accordance with Bylaw 19(b). If both teams are in default the match shall be cancelled, treated as a double forfeit and no match points allocated. Both teams may incur a fine in accordance with Bylaw 19(b).
(d) All play will cease at 10:30pm.
(e) All hit ups between sets are to be restricted to a maximum of three (3) minutes.
