Documart
The Market Day will include a Documart where independent producers will briefly pitch their ideas to a panel of international broadcasters, financiers and distributors including BBC, Channel 4 and Discovery.
The aim of Documart is to stimulate co-financing and co-production of new documentaries.
If you have an exceptional idea for a documentary that has international co-production potential and you are looking for a pre-sale then please submit your proposal to the Documentary Conference Secretariat.
Details should include:
- a one-liner which captures the project
- one page synopsis
- 4-6 page outline
- approximate budget figure
- production schedule
- CVs of creative team
Ideas may include one-off documentaries and/or series.
All genres are acceptable. There will be a pre-selection of projects with a maximum of 20 selected for presentation. Presentations will be between 5 to 10 minutes in duration.
Deadline October 13, 1995
Successful applicants will be notified before the end of October, 1995

Videotheque (Stop 22)
The Conference will operate a Videotheque which will comprise video and CD Rom facilities, as well as a library where filmmakers can deposit videoes/CD Roms of their work for other delegates to view. Please indicate on your registration form if you wish to lodge your video or CD Rom at the Videotheque.
