We are a caring and welcoming community of Churches of Christ which are similar in doctrine and worship to some other Churches. Our most important belief is the resurrection and sovereignty of the Lord Jesus. Our distinctive characteristics are:

• We believe that all Christians, being filled with God’s Spirit, are “priests” and are gifted to participate in all areas of service and ministry where those gifts apply.
• We are a church like the churches of the New Testament: characterised by joyful, informal worship; Bible-based teaching and the practice of believer's baptism by immersion. Children are lovingly received by “child dedication”. However, when people join us from other denominations, we honour the baptism they have already received. People wishing to join our church are welcomed after having completed a membership interview with the minister or elders.
• We believe that the power and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are alive and present in the Church today, as God chooses to release them.
• Communion (also known as the Lord’s Supper or the Eucharist) is celebrated every week. We keep an open Communion table, at which all who love the Lord Jesus Christ are welcome.
• We believe in the Holy Trinity – Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit
