Membership Information

The Jackaroo Club was formed in March 1987.

It is a four wheel drive club which promotes such activities as bush touring, camping and conservation, with an emphasis on family participation. The current membership is about 70 families. Club members are spread throughout Metropolitan Melbourne and Country Victoria.

The main activities of the club are four wheel drive trips. These vary from one day to weekend to extended trips. Most have a Victorian focus but some interstate events do occur.

Other activities include:

Driver Awareness Courses, Social Functions, Technical Demonstrations and Advice, 4WD education and Monthly meetings (usually with a guest speaker).

Other benefits of club membership include:

4WD Education, Vehicle maintenance advice, free use of an extensive club book and video library, free use of club recovery equipment, a monthly club newsletter - best of all access to a vast collection of 4WD knowledge by talking to other members at club meetings.

Membership Subscriptions from 1st July 2003 - 1st July 2004 are $75 plus a once off joining fee of $10
