What is Timesharing?
Timesharing holidays are a modern concept of family holidays.
The condominium units, houses, castles and marine houses are designed for families wanting a complete holiday anywhere in the world. The accommodation is fully equipped - just bring clothes and food. All units have fully equipped kitchens, one to three bedrooms (sometimes more), spacious living room, some have spas in the bathroom. Most sites have indoor and/or outdoor swimming pool, sauna and spa, tennis court , and entertainment room with table-tennis and billiards.
How does it work?
You buy one or more timesharing units at a resort, this entitles you to stay for one designated week at the resort each year, or "space bank" the week and use it later to stay at another resort in one of the 5000 resorts in 90 countries. All resorts have an annual 'maintenance fee' to enable the resorts to look after the resort and refurbish any unit that needs furniture or equipment replacing due to wear and tear, etc.
'Fixed Time' means staying at the same week every year.
'Floating Time' means staying at a week designated by the management of the resort. Units usually have two weeks a year allotted for maintenance.
