Holy Trinity Team officiates at Montsalvat marriage

The Reverends Philip Gill, Jenny Inglis, Jenny Sumpter and Director of Music, Mr Hugh Fullarton were asked to officiate at the wedding of Kate and Travis at Montsalvat Artists' community Eltham. Philip officiated at the service of marriage while Jenny Inglis acted as verger and Hugh played the resident grand piano. Jenny Sumpter attended as part of her diaconal formation, but as the photos show she took an active part in welcoming guests. Jenny Inglis was the photgrapher for Holy Trinity photographs. Though clergy are still encouraged to officiate at marriage services in Church buildings it is possible under certain circumstances for clergy to obtain permission form the regional bishop to officiate away from church premises.
