Katrina Bound - Diploma of Teaching (Early Learning Education) - Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

Katrina is our three year old kindergarten teacher. She has many years experience teaching kindergarten and co-ordinating child care. Katrina's understanding of children has also been gained as a mother.

Katrinas' philosophy of teaching stems from a strong belief in children feeling and knowing they are safe, loved and genuinely cared for, while stimulated with interesting educational experiences. She provides firm boundaries for children, while at the same time encouraging creativity and active participation. This is all implemented with a strong sense of caring, a calm and patient approach and respect for all children as individuals.

Janet Mann - Certificate III Children's Service

Janet has over 15 years experience in her role as 3 year old kindergarten assistant. She has the rare ability to draw children out of their shyness and create an atmosphere in which they feel safe to express themselves. Janet's easygoing manner and obvious enjoyment of her work enhance her relationship with the children. Janet also has three children of her own.

Rebecca Adams - Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood) -Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

Rebecca is our 4 year old teacher and Kindergarten Director. She is dedicated to providing a stimulating educational program that is developmentally appropriate to each child and follows their interests, needs and strengths.

Rebecca acknowledges and fosters each child's individual potential. A fun and safe environment is provided where children can explore and extend themselves with developing confidence that they are a unique and valued person.

Rebecca is a strong advocate for children's rights and encourages respect and equity in the kindergarten which is reflected in her program and caring nature.

Trav Knight - Certificate III Children's Service

Trav is our 4 year old assistant. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have such a dedicated and conscientious staff member.

Trav's insight and understanding of children's development assists in the planning of the 4 year old program. His creativity outdoors is just one of his many skills. His love for the children is obvious and the way they respond to him is a delight to see. Trav is also the father of a young child.

Kitty Marks

assists with the 4 year old lunch-time care program. Her cheerful and nurturing personality adds great enjoyment to the children's (and teachers'!!) day. Kitty has a unique and natural ability to bring stories to life. Kitty has two children of her own.
