Court & Club Etiquette
Courts must be bagged and watered after each set! The entire en-tout-cas surface
should be bagged and watered right to the fence. If the court is dry before play please
water the courts. We ask for your cooperation to protect the condition of our courts.
Only approved footwear should be worn on the courts. This means shoes with flat soles and
without a rugged or rippled sole pattern. Incorrect footwear causes severe damage to court
surfaces.
Young children should be supervised in the clubhouse and general surroundings.
When courts are in demand for social play, restrict play to doubles and limit the length of
playing time.
Security & Access to Courts
Members may hire a key that permits access to the court area. A deposit of $30.00 is
required. Keys are available from the secretary. We recommend having a key for your convenience.
Alternatively a key may be borrowed on a short term basis from the secretary.
When leaving please ensure gates and doors are locked. Please double check that the clubhouse
is locked if you are last to leave. The main gate should be kept shut, except if
coaching or
competition is in progress.
Notice Boards
Notice boards in the clubhouse are regularly updated with current information concerning the
club and the members. Please refer to them often for ladders, entry forms for competitions and
for various social events and activities. The boards will keep you up to date with what is going
on in the club.
Applications for various tournaments held around the state are also available. |
