The
Hornets Nest Publishing & Literary Group
|
|
| The
Hornets Nest is a small publishing/literary group which the
Australian reading market is currently buzzing about. "The
Hornets Nest" is not interested in creating fiction which
reads like all other fiction. Blandness is not our business.
We believe that the essence of "the novel" is to
BE novel. Our aim is to produce finely crafted writing presenting
"what is happening" on the surface and subtly revealing
it as a result of "what may be on the verge of erupting"
beneath the surface. Our aim as a group is to produce fiction
which is "happening now" but will also stand the test
of time.
Our currently best selling titles are by FAW Literary Award
Winner, Valerie Kirwan. "...one of Australia's boldest
and most original writers" - The AGE
