May 2002 - IT Wizards Workshop

In May three of our members presented practical examples of how computers can be used productively to help improve the efficiiency and profitability of any business.

Graeme Dower (pictured) from Interzign talked about Systems Management and all the little things like backup that we so often neglect.

Hillary Milsome of Serenity Office Solutions, gave an excellent presentation on what we should expect from an Accounting Package; what it can do for our business and how we should set it up.

Peter Feeney of Innovative Systems, demonstrated some of the many unknown ways that Outlook can be used to run your time and your business more efficiently.

All three speakers were very well received and generated a great deal of interest and interaction with the audience. The success of the night can be judged by the great difficulty we had convincing people to go home so we could lock up.
