At our March meeting our speaker was Reg Eustace an accountant
with years of experience in business administration and liquidation.
An experienced advisor to a large number of micro businesses; Reg
was an easy to understand speaker who made entertaining what could
have been a very dry subject
He helped us to understand the real difference between fixed and
variable expenses and to see the impact and significance of these
on our business. He showed us how to use this information to identify
our break even points and how to then use this to establish our
prices.
While limited by the time Reg was able to answer a lot of specific
questions from the floor left a lot of people rushing home to find
"last years reports from the accountant".
