We had a very entertaining evening hearing the ups and downs
of working life and business from Fedia Slussaref.
Fedia regaled us with stories from his working life in the
early days of Information Technology and his move into business.
Having worked with actuaries, Fedia was able to give us an
amusing insight into what they actually do.
We heard about what recession can do to a business, and that
you're not alone when things go wrong.
The most valuable lesson of the evening seems to be, find
yourself a niche market, and service it well.
Another interesting aspect was the vital role participation
in overseas trade shows had played in the development of his
business.
