September 2008 - Sell Your Service, Not Your Soul

 

 

 

At our September meeting, we certainly had an insight into how we can recapture our soul and save it from under-selling it to our customers! Mr Peter Watts outlined the steps that a business needs to take when approaching its target market, and how to best present its service to its client.

In particular, one of the areas covered was the pricing of a service. If you have struggled with understanding how to present the price of your service in a way that gives you what you need to make a profit and allows the customer to feel that they get value for money, then this night helped answer that question.

Whilst the evening was aimed at providing insights for service-based businesses, much of the principles shared by Peter apply to those businesses that sell products to generate revenue.
