NOTE: Apart from Bhajan Nite, Antakshri Nite,
Grand Musical Nite, 108 Hawan Kundi Shri Gayatri Mahayagna
and Deepawali Celebrations, all other celebrations will
be held at Gayatri Mandir, 178 Lyndhurst Road, Boondall.
Celebrations at the Gayatri Mandir
The Society celebrates all major Hindu festivals at
the Gayatri Mandir. These include:
- Anniversary celebrations
- Shiu Ratri
- Holi
- Ram Naumi
- Hanuman Jayanti
- Krishna Asthami
- Diwali is celebrated at a hired hall due to large
patronage
Ramayan recitals are held on every Tuesday nights at
the Mandir from 7pm. Other functions are also held at
the Mandir, as members from time to time require. There
are Parvachaans by visiting Swamis from India, Pandits
from Fiji, etc.
All members are welcome to arrange functions at the
Mandir, eg. Weddings, Poojas, Ramayans, etc. Please
contact any of the Committee Members if you wish to
conduct religious celebrations at the Gayatri Mandir. |
