How to Become an Umpire
Any person
interested in umpiring cricket matches is invited to apply, no matter what previous
experience they may hold. All umpires are provided with training &
assistance by the HDCA Umpires Advisor. Further support is provided by the
Umpires Association which meets on a regular basis during the season.
Matches are played each Saturday
between 1.00pm and 6.00pm.

Umpire meetings
are regularly held throughout the season. These are held at St. Martin of Tours
Primary School, cnr Silk St. and Lower Plenty Rd. commencing at 7:30pm.
