Match dominated by batting performances of Barrow and Favrin. Macleod still not able to bat out their 80 over allocation plus little support from other batsmen. Heidelberg coasted to victory, making the runs with 15 overs left to bowl.

Banyule far too strong. Their batting performance on Day 1 was far too many runs for Banksia to chase.

West Ivanhoe Uniting 8/273cc (C Martin 84, G Joyner 67, D Mahady 35, T Balcombe 3/35 (26), M Legge 3/83 (27)) lost to Heidelberg 7/275 (T Balcombe 111no, M Favrin 38, C Stevens 30)

In a classic encounter at Heidelberg Park, West Ivanhoe opened with a blast, 150 from the first 30 overs, with Corey Martin and Grant Joyner in full control. Tony Balcombe and Martin Legge then started the Heidelberg recovery. In the end, the final 50 overs only produced a further 123 runs. However at the end of the first day, odds favoured West with a very good score on the board. With wickets in hand (5), the equation came down to 119 from the final 20 overs. Balcombe played a great knock to get Heidelberg over the line with eight balls to spare. A very good match by both teams.

Clifton Hill 92 (Addamo 23, Meggs 23, Geoff Wilson7/43) lost to Rosanna 96 (B Peake 21)

A thrilling encounter at Ramsden St. Ground is always well grassed, however reports indicate that it had not been mowed and thus batsmen did not gain value for shots played.
