The Victorian Artists Society, known also as Vicarts and VAS is located  in a charming building in Albert Street, close to the heart of Melbourne city.  Vicarts  has  state-wide membership. The society  operates four galleries and is able to hold its  seasonal exhibitions in its own premises.  Other groups and individual artists are eligible to rent the gallery space and throughout the year there are exhibitions of painting and sculpture.
