To recap.....

You may recall that, as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2008, a team of knitters was handed a secret briefing requiring the production of materials for a 'soft assault' on the City of Melbourne.

The assault took place during the early hours of 24 September 2008 resulting in the appearance of knitted graffiti in many strange and wonderful places in the heart of the city. You can see some examples in the pictures below.

After the event all the knitted materials were retrieved and it was decided to put them to good use.

Some have now been transformed into scarves for the homeless at St. Mary's House of Welcome and these were delivered last week. The rest were made into small blankets for the Vulnerable Children of the World knitting project.
