15th August, 2008

Una joined the Guild in 1975 and worked in the library on most Saturday meeting days for a good many years.
Spinning, dyeing and felting were Una's main interests but she was also interested in other connections with natural materials, such as basketry, Australian plants and photography.
Many members will remember meeting Una and her little chihuahua's at Harrietville weekends.
Una and her friend Lorraine Whitaker have spent many happy hours out in the bushy areas looking for native orchids.
When asked at her party "What is the secret to living a great age"? Her reply was, "Get a dog, they keep you fit and healthy".
Una has a wealth of knowledge and expertise and is only to happy to share it with others.

Many of Una's friends came along to help celebrate her 90th birthday at the Guild
