The Grange is 6.6 hectares of remnant
heathland
vegetation. The reserve contains 3
different types of
plant communities:

sandy heathland (dry heathland) at
the highest point,

stringybark woodland (wet
heathland), and
-
swamp vegetation in the low-lying
areas.
The Grange is diverse, containing
approximately:

230 indigenous
plant species,
-
more than 48 birds,
-
5 mammals,
-
4 amphibians,
-
6 reptiles, and
-
numerous insects.
