Grace Park Pre-school was opened in August 1967 and is located in Greensborough, Melbourne, Australia. It took a very hard working committee of local residents over 2 years to realise this dream. On opening day, the Architect recalled, how, prior to designing the Kinder, he sat on the floor to determine what a 4 year old would see. Thus his plan was to design a building that was, and still is, functional, adaptable and aesthetically pleasing.

A special needs group was successfully started at Grace Park Pre-school in 1977 and this was the first of its kind to operate in the state.

Our Kinder also reached an important milestone in 1997 when it celebrated its 30th birthday.  In 2007, we proudly celebrated our 40th birthday!

In 1994 a 3yo program was added to the Centre. Following the addition of our inclusion group with Kalparrin Early Intervention Centre, we have merged these two groups into one.

In 2006 Grace Park Preschool and Kalparrin Early Intervention Centre came together to offer a 4 y/o Inclusive Kindergarten Programme for community and children with special needs.
