The New Year’s Eve Function    Ushering the New Millennium

 

The New Years Eve Millennium Ball, yes, was  held on the 31st of December, (multi course Buffet catered for) at St. Anthony’s Parish Hall, Noble Park, and did last until the early hours of the First Day of the Millennium 2000. Free Champagne and Party Gear and Noise Makers were provided in case of hoarse throats. Candle light, was provided, in case the Millennium started off with the feared Bug; and Merry Making was guaranteed by the "Good Times" Band. We all sang  "Auld Lang’s " and danced away the Blues of the Year and Rang in the New. 

 

 

                                                        

Our  '21st'  Anniversary Function

In February 2000, 'The G.O.A. Vic Inc'.  did  ‘Come of Age’; and the 21st Anniversary Dance was held on Saturday the 12th of February, and friends and countrymen were once again invited to come and join us in the Celebrations.  This year the Celebrations were held at "CAMELOT" the prestigious Function Centre, near Monash UNI. Full catering with a Sumptuous meal, wine, & soft drinks was provided for; Dancing to the "Good Times Band" and a sing along were some of the highlights of the Day; Prominent persons, past and present Presidents had their say. The "Birthday Cake" was cut and celebrated!
