The Ten Commandments

This is the Moral Code for life, given by God to Moses in 1462 B.C. at Mt. Sinai after the Hebrew people had escape from Egypt.

Everyone on earth, whether they like it or not, or know it or not, is subject to this Law and will one day have to answer to God for their lives in relation to this Law.

Have you ever broken one or more of these ten commandments?

• You shall have no other God's before me.
  
• You shall not make idols for worship

• You shall not take the name of God in vain
  
• Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy

• Honour your Father and your Mother
  
• You shall not kill
  
• You shall not commit adultery
  
• You shall not steal
  
• You shall not lie
  
• You shall not covet what others have.

If you have broken any of these you are subject to God's penalty, which is spiritual death and separation from God forever. In others words you go to Hell when you die.

That is why Jesus came to earth to die and pay the penalty for your sin that you should have paid.

By believing in Jesus Christ and what He has done and repenting of your sin, you can have eternal life - and even fullness of life here on earth. That is what this whole book is about.

But unless you know you are under the penalty of God's law, you will not want to believe. Check yourself out.
