Hot, sizzling,
succulent $1 sausages. Really… who could resist??
Friday September 5 – RMIT Swanston St Campus (Bowen St.)
Although it was a
rather gloomy day to start off, with the weather threatening to
rain heavily, we persisted – continuing to cook sausages
undercover and delivering them to the hungry students around the
RMIT Swanston St. campus. Perhaps it was the rain, perhaps it
just wasn’t a good day to be selling sausages but it just
seemed that not many people were hungry.
Despite not having
sold many of the sausages that we had bought, it was a great opportunity
to spread the word around about our upcoming event – Movie
Day, showing MATRIX RELOADED.
Wednesday
September 10 – RMIT Bundoora Campus
RMIT Bundoora campus.
It may be far away from civilization and it may have less people
than the Swanston St. campus, but woah do these people eat! Hungry
students and a beautiful sunny day created a huge success for
the Golden Key sausage sizzle!
Not only were there
many people interested in what we were promoting but they were
also enjoying our sausages – cooked in the authentic Indonesian
way. We literally sold out and yet there were more people queuing
up for more. Sorry folks - Next time!!
Thanks to
all those who helped out on the day!! We appreciate it immensely.
