David Saker has agreed to a specialist bowling assistant coaches role this season at Glen Iris C.C.
David Saker made his debut for Victorian Bushrangers in 1994-95 and played 49 matches for the state and currently the Victorian Bushrangers Fast Bowling Coach. Also an assistant coach to Shane Warne in the recent successful IPL series in India. David Saker played 72 First Class Matches capturing 247 wickets and making 1384 runs.
This is a huge coup for the cricket club and it would be expected any fast bowler wanting the best advice would be seeking our club out this season. David will also be assisting our juniors also
