This Photo was taken at an annual family day in the grounds of the Royal Children's Hospital. 

The Gotta Get A Life Foundation was started in 1995, for children with chronic bowel conditions, for further research and to provide respite, for them and their families.

You do not need an official diagnosis to become a member of the foundation.

Membership is FREE.

The Foundation has 3 main aims

•  To run monthly outings where the children are entertained in an environment where they do not have to worry what others think.

These outings are also a good time for the parents to meet other parents sharing in the same    problems,    They can "compare notes" and help each other deal with problems. The relief that parents feel when others actually understand what they are going through is indescribable.

•  To run a yearly family camp where the aims of the monthly outings can be explored further. It also a chance for the group to form close bonds with each other, something which is not really achievable with monthly outings.
•  To make a yearly donation to research into various bowel conditions.
