History:
The GETUNDER Dive Club Inc. was formerly known as the API Diving Club which was formed in 1976 to cater for the Scuba Diving activities of members of the Australian Post-Tel Institute of Victoria. Today it caters for anyone who is qualified as a scuba diver and can meet the clubs entrance requirements. The Club owns a trailer mounted Bauer Air compressor and together with a full diving kit and a number of Scuba cylinders available for members use, radios and safety equipment, we have the freedom to dive when and where we want. The Club is also affiliated with the Scuba Divers Federation of Victoria.
The Club is based in Melbourne, Victoria and is open to Certified SCUBA Divers. We are incorporated under the Victorian Associations Incorporation Act 1981. Our
Incorporation number is A0044806K, dated 24th Sept 2003.
What we are:
We are a non-profit Recreational Club of SCUBA divers.
What we are NOT:
We are NOT a Dive Charter or Shop organisation. We
are NOT a Training Agency.
Membership Benefits:
Regular Dive trips on Club members' own boats.
Flexibility in Dive locations - Dive where you want to.
Friendly, relaxed Diving in small groups.
Full SCUBA kit (Tank, Reg, Mask, Fins and weights)
available for Members use - CHEAP FEES! .
Club has its own Bauer 7.4cfm Air Compressor providing cheap Air Fills for members.
Monthly Club meetings in social atmosphere.
Monthly Meetings:
Maori Chief Hotel, cnr Moray and Yourk Streets, South Melbourne, 2nd Thursday Monthly at 7.30pm
Annual Fees:
Full member $60
Corresponding member $5
