My mother in laws brother was killed on the USS Sims in the Coral Sea battle in May 1942. Michael Buonossissi is there anyway to download, copy, or look at the USS Sims manifest or list of crew members so I can highlight Michael's name for my mother and law and for my son's report on the Coral Sea?

Nice map,it's great that you are reviving interest in this
battle.Do be careful when anylizing merits of your faithful allies contributions. It would seem to me that 2 US Navy carrier task forces had some effect on the outcome. Perhaps
their presence influenced the Imperial Navy to break off the attack?

Hi Gavin

Coral Sea Project is truly a magnificent effort. It must have taken a long time. ??? Very interesting.
The Bowls Club effort will be ditto, as far I am concerned. !!! i.e. a long time.
I am treating it as a Class Project in my Computer Class, at RMIT University, and I will advise you of
progress when it occurs.
Regards
Bill.
