Australia : the White Ensign
From the time the Royal Australian Navy was formed in 1911 until 1967, all its ships flew the white ensign of the United Kingdom's Royal Navy. The white ensign was used by official government defence forces, i.e. The Royal Australian Navy, and flown from RAN onshore establishments.
The white ensign was flown by the Royal Australian Navy in The Battle of the Coral Sea, along with the flags of the United States of America and the Imperial Japanese Navy.
