Wow, we have something in common besides preemies :)

I don't think that Mack is destined to be petite. My husband is 6' 3" and
290 lbs, and I am 5' 6" and 160 lbs. That's where they are getting their
concern. I have explained to them that my sister is 5'6" and 106 lbs and
she can't gain weight, but they figure there must be something wrong with
her as well (she's 27). She also has a daughter who is 26 lbs at almost
3 years old (small) and a son who is 12 lbs at 2 months. Go figure!

We try not to worry, but it is hard every time they send us in for more
tests. He is classified as failure to thrive. I've seen lots of failure
to thrive kids and they really are sick. We feel fortunate that Mack appears
to be thriving even though he isn't on paper.
