Hi everybody,

I thought I'd update everybody on my twins Caleb and Leah, 9 months, 6 months corrected.
 (9/6/95 @ 27 wks.)

They just had another followup visit with the neonatologists and all is going well. We
already knew that, but it sure feels good when somebody else agrees with you.

Leah weighed in at 17# 2 oz., Caleb at 20# 12 oz. (he's a porker).

Both have been "cold" free for nearly a month. They are "inching" around the house and
are have been very happy babies with the new "freedom".

A Denver screen was conducted for the first time today, and both are appropriate for
their corrected age.

Leah's hydrocephalus remains stable and her head growth continues to track the 90th
percentile.

Leah's still on the apnea monitor because of logistical and communication problems
between the neonatologists and monitor company. We're still waiting for the D/C order
that we expected at the first of the month.

Our next appointment will be at one year of age, 9 months corrected. If their physical
and developmental screens check out OK then, they will be released by the neonatologists
 to their pediatrician.

We're starting to relax, treat the kids more like "normal" babies, and really enjoy
their infancy. There's finally some payoff for all of the hard work.

Overall, we've had a good day.

Steve
