I've approached this topic as I've approached every one that affects Glenn;
I let him tell me whether he likes it or not. I bought the walker for him
at about 4 months, when he started getting frustrated with having to lay on
his back all the time. He toes didn't even touch the ground, but he was SO
happy to be in an upright position, independent of Mom! When he was about 7
months, he started pushing, occassionally, backwards. Once he started
crawling, at 8 months (not really crawling, but inchworming) he did not
enjoy the walker anymore, and he rarely ever goes into it anymore, now that
he's a crawling pro and starting to pull up. When he was in it, I always
paid attention to when he'd had enough (usually 30 minutes would do it). I
guess this method wouldn't work with all babes, especially the more
easy-going types. Glenn is a very good baby, but he is very vocal in
letting me know when he's bored or displeased with something!
