We did all three of these things with Sammie (your PT would have fainted!!
:) ) and she never had the tippy toe problem ever. We did look for it, and
our PT told us that if we ever saw it, to stop the walker immediately. >>
We had an exersaucer instead of a walker (we didn't want the little guy
escaping and we were worried about toe walking) but we let him stand and jump
in our laps (he really wanted to) and we used the johnny jump up. We did
check with John Henry's two orthopedic surgeons (he had fractures in the
NICU), his pediatrician, OT, cardiologist, pulmonologist and eye doctor
(well, maybe his retina could have detached or something!) and they didn't
have a problem with the exersaucer, johnny jump up or his standing as long as
we didn't overdo them. I guess it depends on your child's individual
situation.
