Well, my experience with my born at 31.5 weeks b/g twins was my son was born
a bit sicker and weaker than my daughter, though he was 6 ounces bigger. I
don't think she *did* better than my son in NICU, but she was born stronger,
which is what I've also been told is often true. She was ventilated less
than 2 days. They took them off at same time, but he had a partial lung
collapse and had to be on another 2 days. His patent dutus was not fully
formed and he had a slight arrythmia found two weeks later. He also had more
apnea and bradies than she did.
